A Special Message from Dr. Stan:

Sincerely hoping that all of you have had a wonderful Christmas and Holiday season. You’re all such a blessing to us at Future Generations.

As we move into the new year, I’m super excited for 2025, while at the same time I have some pretty tough news to share.

After 2 1/2 years of fighting for this almost 15 year business, I have had to make some tough decisions in the last few weeks. Amongst all of them, the single most impossible was the decision to let go of one of my best friends in the whole world, Dr. Ryan Kiser. Since moving Future Generations to Escondido, it’s been a challenge with sometimes 50-60 hour work weeks trying to support the overhead required for a two doctor practice. No one really tells you how much being in “startup phase” again at this stage of your career takes out of you. My family and I have sacrificed so much physically, mentally, emotionally and financially on this mission. We’ve invested significant business and personal finances in this office to include doing whatever we could to keep Dr. Ryan as long as reasonably possible.

I am extremely proud to say we have rebuilt an exceptional clinic, yet we haven’t grown to the point of having a practice that can sustain the infrastructure of two doctors.

Dr. Ryan came to us 3 years ago after seamlessly covering our practice for a couple years while I was out of the office. Our community immediately fell in love with him and after years of “courting” him, he accepted our invitation in 2021 and became a crowd (and team) favorite. He was already one of the top docs in SD but to watch him grow over the last 3 years as a pediatric chiropractor, a husband, and father has been so inspiring to me personally - we have been friends for nearly 20 years. My wife and I went to the Kiser’s wedding and we love them dearly - our kiddos especially love “Baby Jack”. There is no one single person in this community that will miss him more than me… I’ve never spent more time and energy mentoring any single chiropractor despite doing so for many locally in SD and globally around the world.

Some of my favorite memories include his endless cache of cool socks, his love for food (especially cookies), and the 4th of July onesie he blessed all of us with this year. Professionally, one of my favorite experiences I had was with a young family whose miraculous results shepherded in largely by Dr. Ryan, has fueled a 3 year relationship with FG and literally 10s of 1000s of miles commuted to SD county. Two unique things that I know younger patients will remember about him are the two competitions he hosted in our previous office: 1 tower and 1 sand castle building competition.

I could go on and on about the countless memories and good times we all shared with Dr. Ryan.

Dr. Ryan had a magnetic ability to love this community like only he can. I know you all will miss him on such a deep personal level - please know I’m right there with you.

I wanted to give you an idea of what to expect in the next phase of the FG journey. Because we are at a similar volume/capacity that we were prior to bringing Dr. Ryan on board, with our current hours of operation, we will be able to meet the needs of our patient base. You can expect to see the technology updates we have been working on for the past few weeks. I’m looking forward to reconnecting with many of you who have been a part of the FG community for over a decade but were not able to make it in when I have been adjusting. For those of you who I have never connected with, I cannot tell you how excited I am to be an immediate part of your family’s health care team - Dr. Ryan and I have likely talked about you at length at our weekly doctor’s meetings.

This healing work has literally been my mission, dream and passion for over nearly 20 years. I’ve worked tirelessly for nearly 2 decades to make Future Generations one of the top whole family chiropractic clinics in the world.

Please feel free to reply directly to this email with any questions whatsoever - it will go directly to me. I want you to feel seen, heard, valued and supported through this transition. Dr. Ryan has been such a major part of our lives, this change is a massive tug in our hearts. My team and I are here for you as we all process and navigate this chapter of the journey together.

Genuinely love and appreciate you all.  ♥️
