Dr. Stanton Hom’s Story
From Military Medicine to Health Freedom
When I first entered the world of medicine, I believed I was stepping into a system designed to heal people. As a graduate of West Point, I was selected for an internship at Walter Reed Army Medical Center, where I had the rare opportunity to witness brain surgeries, open-heart procedures, and some of the most advanced medical interventions on the planet.
But something never sat right with me.
I saw firsthand how modern medicine, despite its brilliance in trauma care, completely ignored the foundational truth about health—that the body is an intelligent, self-healing system.
I saw patients undergo procedure after procedure, medicated beyond belief, while true healing was never even part of the conversation.
Then, after my own military service, my health fell apart.
I battled PTSD, severe digestive issues, chronic pain, and overwhelming stress. Like so many others, I was searching for relief, for solutions. The system that I had trained in—the one I trusted—had nothing to offer me except medications and management.
And that’s when I was introduced to chiropractic care.
At first, it wasn’t what I expected. It wasn’t just about my spine or my pain—it was about my entire nervous system, my entire body’s ability to regulate, heal, and function at its highest level.
